The deceased fell a victim to that dread scourge, cancer, from which he suffered shockingly for several past months past. Although the poor fellow bore his incurable suffering with great fortitude, death must have been truly a happy release in his case. He was 37 years of age, and unmarried. Before becoming afflicted with this malady, he was an industrious hard-working young man, and had many friends.
